In Linden, New Jersey, police arrested two men who were performing dental work without a valid dentistry license. The arrest comes after a woman reported that after several visits to the fraudulent dentists, she obtained a very severe oral infection. She claimed to pay them $1,000. According to law enforcement, there were other victims as well and all of them went to these fake dentists because they were undocumented immigrants that did not have any dental insurance.

These two fraudulent dentists face up to five years in prison each if they are convicted of the unlawful practice of dentistry. In addition to the dental tools that were found in the residences where the fraudulent dentists performed work, local law enforcement also found that they had more than $20,000.

Any time an individual acts a medical professional when they do not have a license, the lives of many people are put at risk. It seems as though there are frequent cases of false dentists, false plastic surgeons, and other fraudulent individuals acting as esteemed medical professionals and taking advantage of people. If you have been the victim of unlawful practice of medicine, it is important to speak with an experienced attorney who can help protect your legal rights and fight for justice on your behalf.
